Great Western Exploration (ASX:GTE) is a copper, gold and base metal explorer, with exploration tenure close to the DeGrussa Copper-Gold Deposit
Great Western’s Yerrida North Project has been significantly under-explored for DeGrussa Style VHMS Copper-Gold mineralisation, representing a compelling opportunity for the Company.
We have numerous field work programmes across multiple projects currently underway and are well-funded with a small market capitalisation, providing leverage upon exploration success.
Flagship Project: Yerrida North
The Yerrida North Project is ~800km north-east of Perth and adjacent to the DeGrussa and Monty copper-gold VHMS deposits.
Yerrida North comprises several highly prospective targets:
Oval Targets: Large DeGrussa Style VHMS copper-gold targets, where previous drilling by Great Western has likely defined the fringes of a large mineralisation system. Drilling will target the interpreted centre of this VHMS system.
Juggernaut: Six individual VHMS Copper-Gold targets defined by geological mapping, surface sampling, and considerable modelling and interpretation.
Diorama: a VHMS target with a large lag copper anomaly, where fieldwork has defined gossanous outcrop, with shallow cover obscuring potential copper mineralisation below surface.
Baroo: is a previously undefined large quartz vein (5m wide and greater than 140m long) delineated by Great Western, that returned prospective copper results from rock-chip samples.
